BC: Portland Hotel Society Waste is Disgusting

Author: Jordan Bateman 2014/03/21

It’s not often I’m lost for words, but the Portland Hotel Society debacle has me there. Such waste for an organization living off of $28 million in taxpayer money every year.

Pete McMartin’s Sun column and Bruce Hutchinson’s Post piece are must-reads for every British Columbian this morning. Please read them.

As for the CTF’s view, there is a line between “unseemly” and “illegal,” and we are calling on the RCMP and/or VPD to open an investigation and tell us if that line has been crossed. We are also calling on all PHS former directors and executives to at least pay the travel expenses back.
